How fulfillment works
At checkout you choose how to receive your item. Because many of our pieces are valuable or fragile, shipping is arranged per order rather than charged automatically:
- Local pickup — arrange a time to pick the item up in person.
- Shipping — request shipping at checkout, and the seller will arrange it and include the shipping cost on your invoice.
Shipping costs and timing
Shipping costs are quoted on your invoice based on the item, packaging, distance, and any insurance. Delivery times vary by item and destination. Sellers aim to ship promptly after payment clears; you’ll receive tracking or pickup details where available.
Fragile and high-value items
Antiques, fine jewelry, and collectibles are packed with care, and we recommend insured, trackable shipping for valuable pieces. The recommended or required insurance for an item will be reflected on the invoice.
Risk of loss
Unless your invoice states otherwise, risk of loss passes when the item is handed to the carrier (for shipping) or to you (for pickup). Please inspect items on arrival and report any shipping damage to the carrier and to us right away.
International orders
Most orders are fulfilled within the United States. International shipping, where offered, is handled case by case; any duties or import taxes are the buyer’s responsibility.
